Welcome to Jamia Islamia Ishatul Uloom's Ali-Allana college of Pharmacy, Akkalkuwa.

The desire to take medicine is perhaps the greatest feature that distinguishes men from animals. Pharmacy is the health profession that links the health sciences with the basic sciences; it is committed to ensuring medications safe and effective use of medication. Wherever the art of Medicine is loved, there is also a love of Humanity. Pharmacists play a key role in the healthcare system through knowledge-based research, manufacture, and distribution of quality pharmaceutical formulations.

To serve humanity by providing skilled pharmacists to the community, Jamia Islamia Ishatul Uloom’s Ali-Allana College of Pharmacy (AACOP) was established in 2006 by Jamia Islamia Ishatul Uloom’s trust. Allana Group has funded the building of the institute.

The college is approved by the  Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi, and Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra state; and affiliated to Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. It runs a B Pharm program with an intake of 100 students and runs M.Pharm and Ph. D. programs in Pharmaceutics and Quality Assurance subjects.

AACOP has attended several milestones to date. In the year 2011 AACOP was recognized as an approved Research Centre for the doctor of philosophy in pharmacy and medicine. M Pharmacy & Ph. D., in Pharmacy course, was started from the year 2011 to support research & development. AACOP has started a competitive exams guidance center in January 2014 to inculcate the importance of competitive exams in the students. In the year 2015 AACOP was awarded as the best private Pharmacy College in Maharashtra by Brands Academy, Delhi. AACOP has started part-time certificate courses in Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs from the year 2017 for the Pharmacy students affiliated with KBC NMU. In 2020 AACOP got Accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

AACOP has a faculty strength of more than 36, half of whom are having experience of more than 10 years. Rest all the teachers are having more than five years of teaching experience.

Today AACOP is one of the best pharmacy colleges in North Maharashtra. To date, 935 students have graduated as B Pharm, and 108 students have passed out as Master of Pharmacy. 3 students of AACOP were awarded a doctorate by the KBC NMU in 2017. Several research articles are published by the students of AACOP. Two students of B. Pharm & one student of M. Pharm have secured top ranks in KBC NMU to date.
